How do I find open positions?

Find currently posted positions at Lowe’s Careers. View job categories or search by keyword, location, or job ID.

How do I set up a Job Search?

1. Search for positions that interest you.
2. Use the Create Job Alert feature on the left side under the filters.
3. Select how often you want position updates.
4. Confirm your email address for job alerts.
5. Click Create Job Alert.

I was told to apply for a job, but I can’t find it. What should I do?

Contact the location to verify if the job is still posted and request the job ID.

Can I get notified when positions in my field are posted? Can I stop my application and come back to finish it later?

If you apply with Luci (our Virtual Recruiting Assistant), you can start again where you quit, as long as you use the same device (phone, tablet, etc).

If you apply directly to the job posting, you can select Save and Finish Later.

If I send in my resume, can you provide feedback on what positions would be a good fit for me?

We are unable to provide feedback on resumes. Visit Lowe’s Careers to find positions suited to your skills and experience.

Is my Social Security Number (SSN) needed to apply?

You will be asked to provide the last four digits of your SSN and the month and day of your date of birth when you apply. Once you've accepted an offer, we will need your full SSN and date of birth to complete hiring.

I want more details about a job posting.

I'm interested in a specific position, but I don’t see any jobs posted.

Are schedules available prior to applying?

No, but full-time and part-time positions generally require evening and/or weekend availability for store and supply chain roles. Some job postings may include the specific shift in the title. If selected for an interview, you will be given more details on the position's work schedule.

How much does each position pay?

Positions offer a salary range based on your education and experience. If selected for an interview, we’re happy to give you an estimate of the salary during your recruiter phone interview.

How do I check the status of my application?

If you applied through Luci (our virtual recruiting assistant), she will send updates during and after the interview process.

If you applied through Workday (most corporate jobs), you can check your application status by logging back into your Workday Candidate home account.

How long is Lowe’s hiring process?

It depends on the role and the number of candidates to review. Generally, it takes a couple of weeks from application to offer.

Can I go back in and edit my application once I have submitted it?

No, once the application has been submitted, you can’t edit it.

We cannot provide specific feedback, but please continue to visit the Lowe’s Careers page to look for future positions that might be the right fit. You can also sign up for Lowe’s Talent Community to be notified of jobs posted in your field of interest.

Can I apply to the same job posting multiple times?

There's no need to apply to the same job multiple times. Once you apply, you're in our system.

I’m hired! What’s next?

What documents will I need to bring to orientation?

You’ll need to bring forms of identification, such as a license, passport, and social security card. New hire paperwork also includes the W-4 tax withholding form and entry of direct deposit information, so bring any documents you may need for reference when completing that information.

How do I access my new hire paperwork (onboarding)?

New hires will receive an "Information about your Workday account" email from lowes@myworkday.com with instructions and a link to log into Workday for the first time. Once you have logged in with your temporary information, you will be prompted to update your password.

From the Welcome screen, you will see tasks awaiting your action. You can also click Onboarding under Your Top Apps to review all onboarding tasks, including I-9.
